Karidopita – Greek Walnut Cake

Greek walnut cake, KARIDOPITA, is made primarily from walnuts and made fresh and baked to order. Its name is derived from “Karydia” (Greek for walnuts) and “pita” (Greek for pie). Karidopita is one of the most common glyka tapsiou dessert dishes and a classic dessert in every Greek home. Once you have tried it, you will never want another walnut cake.

Karidopita is a mouth-watering Greek walnut cake scented with the aromas of cinnamon and ground cloves soaked in brandy. Serves 12.

Vasilopita – Greek New Years Cake
